Four ways NOVO Health shows up inside your operation
Healthcare facilities face different operational realities. These are the four service models NOVO Health provides, each designed to align with a specific approach to linen management, staffing, and program oversight. The products and textiles that support these programs are detailed under Solutions.
01
Linen Services
Rental, processing, and delivery as a managed program
NOVO Health owns the inventory, processes it through HLAC accredited and TRSA Hygienically Clean certified facilities, and delivers it on a defined schedule. Inventory levels, replenishment, quality oversight, and distribution are coordinated as part of a single operating model.
Facilities gain access to a dependable linen program without investing capital in inventory, staffing a laundry operation, or maintaining processing infrastructure.
What’s included
- Linen inventory owned and managed by NOVO Health
- PAR levels established and maintained to support patient care
- Scheduled pickup, processing, and delivery across the facility
- HLAC accredited and TRSA Hygienically Clean certified processing
- Network capacity that helps support demand fluctuations and surges
- Ongoing quality assurance and utilization reviews
Surgical Textiles
Sterile reusable surgical packs, gowns, drapes, and wraps are supported through the same service model. While the product category lives under Surgical Solutions, inventory management, processing, and distribution are delivered through the rental program.
02
On-Site Linen Management
NOVO Health staff operating your linen program
When a facility requires more than scheduled delivery and replenishment, NOVO Health can provide dedicated on-site personnel. The team manages linen room operations, inventory flow, cart exchange, distribution, and soiled linen handling as an extension of the broader linen program.
This service model provides operational oversight at the point of use while helping clinical and environmental services teams remain focused on patient care and departmental responsibilities.
How it works
- Dedicated on-site personnel employed and managed by NOVO Health
- Daily operation of linen rooms and distribution points
- PAR level management and replenishment oversight
- Cart exchange, soiled linen handling, and loss reduction practices
- Integrated with facility workflows and operating procedures
- Supported through the same Client Relationship Manager structure
Common Applications
- Large campuses with complex distribution requirements
- Facilities experiencing inventory loss or PAR compliance challenges
- Health systems standardizing linen operations across multiple locations
- Organizations seeking a single operating model across service and distribution functions
03
Outsourced Linen Management
For health systems that operate their own laundry
Some health systems own and operate their own laundry facilities. In this model, NOVO Health assumes responsibility for day-to-day plant operations while the health system retains ownership of the facility and equipment.
NOVO Health manages staffing, training, compliance, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The goal is to strengthen plant performance while preserving ownership of the asset.
What NOVO Health Manages
- Operational leadership of the existing laundry facility
- Staffing, training, and workforce development
- Compliance, quality assurance, and process improvement
- Alignment with HLAC and TRSA Hygienically Clean standards
- Access to network resources for continuity and surge support
- Performance measurement and operational reporting
What the Health System Remains
- Ownership of the facility and laundry assets
- Control of long-term capital and strategic decisions
- Existing labor and union agreements where applicable
- Flexibility regarding future operating models
04
Performance Reporting
A client portal built on the same data the operation runs on
Every NOVO Health account includes access to a client reporting portal that provides visibility into program performance, inventory activity, service metrics, and operational trends. The portal uses the same underlying data that supports day-to-day program management, giving clients access to current information without waiting for scheduled reports.
Available on any device, the portal serves as a shared source of information for both the client team and NOVO Health.
What Clients can Access
- Program KPIs and performance trends
- Cost and utilization reporting, including $/APD analysis
- Inventory activity, product mix, and loss tracking
- Service performance measured against established standards
- Access from desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
How it Supports the Program
The portal complements the Client Relationship Manager program by providing access to the information used during ongoing program reviews. Monthly, quarterly, and annual discussions begin with a shared view of performance, allowing teams to focus on decisions, opportunities, and operational improvements rather than assembling reports.
